Supplementary Regulations for the Dave Ketteringham Memorial Trial
Darwen Trials Club will organise an Open trial for solo motorcycles, held under the Rules of the AMCA, the following Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions issued for the meeting. Please take the time to carefully read any specific Safety Procedures and Notes produced by Darwen Trials Club which form part of the Supplementary Regulations. There will also be a Riders Briefing which all riders must attend ten minutes before the official start time.

ELIGIBILITY: All riders must be members of an AMCA affiliated club.
START / VENUE: 10:30 at Ramsgreave Hall Farm , BB1 9DQ
DIRECTIONS:

From the M6 Leave the M6 and head east on the A59, then the A677. Follow the A677 through Mellor Brook then take the A6119 on the left. At the second crossroads, turn left on Barker Lane, then right at the Spread Eagle. The entrance - marked Young Achievers - is a little further on the left. From the east Follow the A666 through Wilpshire then turn west on Ramsgreave Road. This shortly become Higher Ramsgreave Road. Look out for a sign 'Young Achievers' to the right.

ENTRY LIMIT: This trial has a limited entry of 100. In the event of the limit being exceeded, acceptance will be determined by Order of Payment. Entrants will be informed by email once payment is received and their entry is confirmed.
RESULTS: Will be published on the trialmonster.uk website
COURSE: Will comprise one or more laps of a course all on private land. No practising on this land before or after the event. The number of laps and sections will be announced at a riders’ briefing immediately before the event start.
SECTION MARKING AND SCORING: This trial will be a Stop Permitted trial.

Main route (usually Novice) is marked by bLue (Left) and Red (Right) markers with deviations for other routes as follows. Easy route - Pink, Intermediate - White, Expert - Yellow. 

The 50/50 route will ride a combination of Easy and Novice section and will attempt the easier route unless a '50/50' marker is shown at the section 'Begins' cards. The number of sections, laps and any changes will be announced at a briefing ten minutes before the start of the trial.

A machine will be deemed to be in the section when the front wheel has passed the Section Begins card and marks will be awarded until the front wheel has passed the Section Ends card. Marks lost will conform to the Clean-1-2-3-5 system. Further details can be found in the AMCA Trials Rule Book.

NOTES:

Entries fees include an additional £5 which, along with any other surplus income from this trial, will be donated to the North West Air Ambulance.
