ANNOUNCEMENT: Darwen Trials Club will organise an Open Trial for solo motorcycles, held under the Sporting Code of the AMCA, Standing Regulations, the following Supplementary Regulations and any Final Instructions issued for the meeting.
Please take the time to carefully read any specific Safety Procedures produced by Darwen Trials Club which form part of the Supplementary Regulations. There will also be a Riders Briefing which all riders must attend ten minutes before the official start time.
ELIGIBILITY: This trial will be an Open trial.

START / VENUE: 10:30 at Back Cowm Quarry, Whitworth - OL12 8BE
DIRECTIONS:
Follow the A671 into the centre of Whitworth. Leave the A671 at Tong Lane – close to a pedestrian crossing. This will soon become Tong End, then Back Cowm Lane. Cowm Leisure is approximately one mile along here.

ENTRIES:
Entry will be available through this website.
Entries close: Dec 27th, 2024 10:00 PM
If the entry limit has not been reached, entry on the day will be available at the event. Additional charges may apply.
ENTRY LIMIT: This event has a limited entry of 100 entries. In the event of the limit being exceeded, entries will be selected in order of receipt of payment. Entrants will be informed by email once their entry is confirmed.
ENTRY FEES: Advance online entry fees Adult - £20, Youth – £15. Providing that entries are still available on the day, entry fees will be Adult - £25, Youth - £20.
RESULTS: Will be published on the trialmonster.uk website
COURSE: Will comprise one or more laps of a course all on private land. No practising on this land before or after the event. The number of laps and sections will be announced at a riders’ briefing immediately before the event start.
COURSES: Expert, Intermediate, Clubman, 50/50, Easy
CLASSES: Adult, Youth
METHOD OF MARKING & TIES: A machine will be deemed to be in the section when the front wheel has passed the Section Begins card and marks will be awarded until the back wheel has passed the Section Ends card. 0, 1, 2, 3, 5 system - Ties decided by most cleans, ones, twos, threes, furthest clean
Please note that cash entries on the day of the trial will be accepted providing the entry limit is not reached and will be subject to a £5 surcharge.
Sections will close at 3pm out of consideration for our observers.
